Hyderabad Encounter LIVE Updates: Days after the gory encounter news incident in which the 26-year-old veterinarian was burnt to death after being raped triggered outrage, the four accused in the case were killed in an encounter in the wee hours of Friday as they "tried to escape from the crime scene". Hours after the encounter, top police officers rushed to the spot.

According to police, the men were taken to the spot for recreation of the crime scene at 3:30am when they attempted to flee and were shot by policemen. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had on Sunday announced setting up of a fast track court for expeditious trial and assured all help to her family. His minister-son KT Rama Rao had demanded immediate punishment to the four telangana  accused telangana  encounter news.

Nationwide protests had erupted after charred body of a 26-year-old woman was found in an underpass on Hyderabad outskirts on November 28.
The 26-year-old veterinary doctor was smothered, raped and then burnt by four men night and her body was found the next day on November 28 under a culvert on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru national highway.
According to the Cyberabad police, the four accused had punctured the rear wheel of her scooter, offered to help her, dragged her to a secluded spot close to a toll plaza and raped her. It said the victim died due to suffocation and the accused later burnt her body. encounter news
The four men, all lorry workers, aged between 20 and 24, were arrested on November 29 for raping and killing the woman by smothering her and later burning her body.
The accused were identified as Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen, and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu. Mohammad Areef (25), who worked as a driver, was the prime accused in the case. The four accused in the gruesome gangrape and murder of a woman veterinarian doctor had been sent to judicial custody for 14 days telangana .

Reacting to the killing of the four accused in the encounter, the victim's sister said they welcomed it. "We are happy. We did not expect this (killing in the encounter). We thought they would be hanged through courts.
"We thank everyone who stood by us. With this incident people should be scared to indulge in such crimes (against women)," she told reporters. encounter news

In a stunning twist to a crime that horrified the nation, all four men accused in the gang-rape and murder of a young veterinarian in Telangana were shot dead in the early hours of Friday by the police, who claim they were trying to escape during investigations at the same spot where the woman's body was found. The young woman's rape and murder last week, revealed when her badly burnt body was found near Hyderabad, had outraged the nation today hyderabad.
The four men, Mohammed Arif (26), Jollu Shiva (20), Jollu Naveen (20) and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu (20), had been taken to the scene of the crime at 3 am for a reconstruction as part of investigations, the police said. They were at the spot where the charred body of the woman was found, around 60 km from Hyderabad, when, the police claim, one of the men signaled to the others, possibly to escape.
The police claim that the accused tried to snatch weapons from them and attacked them telangana .

"They were killed in crossfire. They tried to snatch weapons from the guards but were shot dead," senior police officer Prakash Reddy said.
"We called an ambulance but they died before any medical help could reach them."he four, arrested a day after the crime, had been in custody of the police since Wednesday.
On November 27, the men, all truck-drivers and cleaners, today hyderabad saw the 27-year-old woman park her scooter near a toll-booth on a busy highway. She left for a dermatology appointment. They allegedly deflated her scooter tyre and waited for her. When she returned, they took her to a truck yard with the promise of fixing her scooter, gang-raped her, strangled her and burnt her body to destroy evidence, according to the police.
