Hyderabad: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI) has said that health insurance policies for Kovid treatment will benefit Omicron victims.

 On April 1, 2020, IRDAI ordered compensation for covid-19 Chiki Tsa in all types of health insurance policies issued by general and health insurance companies. Omicron on Monday issued guidelines to insurers that they would have to pay insurance compensation for the new variant treatment, reminding them once again that their cases are booming. The network advised to take appropriate steps to avoid any trouble with hospitals regarding cashless treatments. Hospitals are also required to provide appropriate assistance in providing cashless treatment to policyholders as per agreements with insurance companies.
